Delfast has officially arranged few TopCop electric bikes to be delivered to the police department in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico.

The official presentation for the police management, including  the chief of the police and the mayor of the city, took place being followed by the positive decision to purchase Delfast TopCops for test.

The local police force was using regular bicycles to patrol the downtown area of the city. First of all, they appreciated the power and range of the Delfast TopCop model that could easily cover large areas, overcome difficult terrains and are, in general, faster. Thus, the work of the policemen may be done more efficient when compared to any other type of vehicles used by the police.

Indeed, TopCop can go for 174 mi or 240 km on a single charge with no pedal assistance. The top speed of the following model is 50 mph or 80 km/h. It also includes every tech feature needed for the policemen such as the GPS tracker, remote launch, and motor blocking. It additionally may be equipped with the special police horns and the lights or any other e-bike component recommended by police. On request, Delfast may add a cargo platform, trailer, radio mount as well as special mounts for either weapon, or mini transportable fire extinguisher, for instance, etc.

Moreover, the fact that Delfast offers “green” bikes was crucial for Mexicans since the environmental issues are of great priority in the area with Mexicali being one of the most polluted cities in Mexico.
